The expansive showroom has distinct areas for diverse jewellery categories, seamlessly melding the traditional and modern, for discerning customers
Ahmedabad: Kalamandir Jewellers recently unveiled its 25,000 sq. ft showroom in Ahmedabad, staking claim as the largest jewellery showroom in Gujarat. The new store is situated in the heart of the city, within the bustling Zaveri Bazaar, also referred to as the Satellite Market, which is a prime shopping destination. “This grand opening solidifies our position as the largest store in the entire State of Gujarat,” says Chahat Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, Kalamandir Jewellers. “Our strategic location allows us to establish a stronger connection with our customers, enabling us to stay in tune with regional trends, product availability, preferences and customer likes. Being here, we can serve and engage with customers not only within Ahmedabad but also from the surrounding areas and beyond.”
The store in Ahmedabad not only celebrates the brand’s rich heritage but also sets a new standard for jewellery retail, promising an alluring experience for every discerning customer. Each section of the store is curated to resonate with the jewellery category it represents. The ground floor is dedicated to diamond jewellery, with custom designs from renowned brands like De Beers Forevermark and Rishtaa Diamonds. The first floor showcases resplendent yellow gold, with a special section for Platinum Guild of India (PGI) platinum jewellery. The split-level second floor is for antique jewellery enthusiasts and showcases the brand’s ‘Saj Dhaj Ke’ bridal collection, complete with personalized customer service. The third floor is for silver jewellery aficionados and features the exquisite Shwetam collection.
Speaking about the brand’s regional focus, Chahat Shah says, “Jewellery design in this region is deeply rooted in tradition, and Kalamandir cherishes this heritage by seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary designs.” The brand’s jewellery captures the specific tastes of its customers, whether they favour classic yellow gold designs, polki, polki-jadau, or modern-traditional fusion jewellery.
Kalamandir Jewellers’ journey began in 1986 with a modest 300 sq. ft store. Since then, it has flourished into one of India’s premier jewellery destinations, having a retail presence covering more than 1 lakh sq. feet across the country. Now, the brand has five flagship stores in Kosamba, Bharuch, Vapi, Surat and Ahmedabad, and three smaller boutiques at airports in Lucknow, Surat and Jaipur.
