Josco offers jewellery at wholesale rates during inauguration of renovated store at Thiruvananthapuram
Chettinad, temple and lightweight jewellery were part of the offer at the store, which was inaugurated by three college students picked through a lucky draw
When Josco Jewellers opened its newly renovated showroom at East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram, on May 22, 2023, customers were in for a treat. Amidst the excitement of the showroom being inaugurated by three college students in the presence of Malayalam television presenter and radio jockey Lakshmi Nakshathra and other distinguished guests, the big draw was the brand’s offe rof Chettinad, temple and lightweight jewellery at wholesale rates for retail customers.
Commenting on the wholesale rate offer, Tony Jose, MD & CEO, Josco Group, says, “Josco Group sells jewellery to many retailers nationwide and has its own jewellery manufacturing unit equipped with a highly talented and experienced team of craftsmen who are updated with all the latest technologies in the industry. This enables us to sell finely crafted jewellery to our customers at the lowest price – basically at the same wholesale rate we sell to retailers. As gold rates are sky-rocketing day by day, our idea is to make gold anddiamond jewellery accessible and affordable to one and all.”
Tony Jose says the newly renovated showroom represents the brand’s intention to offer the best products and services to customers, along with a unique jewellery shopping experience. Josco organized a month-long campaign for college students to participate in a lucky draw and get a chance to inaugurate the showroom. “Three college students from the lucky draw were selected to inaugurate the renovated store, and 10 other winners were invited. The inauguration was a success with the participation of many people from Thiruvananthapuram,” Tony Jose explains.
Apart from showcasing gold and diamond collections, the showroom has set up an executive designer centre with an exclusive array of the latest and trendy designs from around the globe and a diamond and uncut diamond gallery with designs ranging from lightweight daily wear to bridal jewellery. “We always try to cater to the varied demands of our customers without compromising on quality and service. We have also introduced many plans like pre-booking, old gold exchange, gold savings scheme and so on to ensure the customers get the maximum price benefit. One visit to a Josco showroom is enough to make the customers choose Josco as their favourite jewellery shopping destination, as our brand name is the USP. People equate the name Josco with unmatched quality and unlimited choice,” Tony Jose says.
Besides several other discounts and inaugural gifts such as exclusively crafted Nagas, customers were also offered free gold coins for gold ornament purchases above Rs 50,000, Rs 10,000 off per carat for diamond jewellery, a gold exchange offer, a special discount for uncut diamond jewellery and a lucky draw contest. Also, all the college students who were winners of the lucky draw received gold coins of 2 gm each.
Speaking about the future, Tony Jose says, “Our main plans are to expand and launch an IPO. We plan to open new stores in India and abroad to establish Josco Jewellers as a global brand.”
