IGI organizes an extensive training program for Modern Jewellers
The education wing of the Diamond Certifying Authority empowers the retail team by bridging the knowledge gap and imparting the requisite selling skills
Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh– IGI conducted a Retail Sales Program for the sales team of Modern Jewellery in Bareilly. The program was designed by experts from IGI to emphasize on the importance of having the requisite product knowledge and unparalleled, over the counter skills that would help them complete a sale perfectly.
From understanding and evaluating the quality of a diamond or gemstones to the soft skills that extend a perfect customer experience, the program helped the team gain a wider perspective. The team was made aware of the various aspects in the sale of diamond jewelry, the technique of handling a situation and analyzing the modern-day customers, their needs and handling the various queries that they might have. “The retail support training from IGI has surely helped our team. We have noticed a positive development among the staff members and the skills imparted have surely instilled a better service orientation,” said Ujjwal Agarwal, Director, Modern Jewellery. The art of reading an IGI certificate too was imparted to the participants in order to help the end consumers have a sense of confidence in the jewelry.
IGI’s Retail Support Program provides training to the sales staff of jeweler retailers. The institute also provides customized training seminars and conferences to an increasing number of jewelry retailers and manufacturers. These programs are jointly developed based on the individual needs of each organization.
