IGI certifies 10-Carat fancy-shaped diamond of lab grown origin
Mumbai: The International Gemological Institute (IGI) India certified a lab-grown, 10.02- carat VS2 with a D color. What makes this a unique creation is its fancy heart shape the perfectly crafted diamond received an ‘excellent’ grade on certifying.
The 10-carat stone has been created using the High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) process. The use of advanced technology combined with science of creating such fascinating diamonds under induced conditions is truly fascinating. The diamond is truly one of its kind and its fancy shape adds to the galore. Lab grown diamonds are witnessing a rise in demand with consumers opening up to the segment. Perceived as the synonym of modern love, lab grown diamonds are carving a niche for themselves in the jewellery segment. Pioneers in the lab grown certification arena, IGI is the first and only laboratory to have received the ISO accreditation for lab grown diamond certification globally.
