HM Diwan Jewellers encapsulates 5 earthly elements in massive bridal collection series
Jal, Agni, Vayu, Prithvi, and Akash form the five core elements of earth. Interestingly, they are going to become the core inspirations of a magnanimous series of collections for HM Diwan Jewellers. Born of Water is the first such outing.
Talking about the inspiration behind the elaborate series, Akash Diwan, director, HM Diwan Jewellers, says that the idea to create such a series shaped up in the second half of 2022, after the market had significantly recovered from pandemic. “It took months to arrive at the perfect look for each collection. We chose five different places to film the shoot for each respective collection. For the fire collection, we chose Rajasthan. For the water theme, we filmed at Munnar in Mumbai. We are planning to shoot for the air theme in Kashmir,” he said, adding that the rest of the collections will be launched within six months.
Each element finds its specialty with the precious metals and colour gemstones used by the brand. Fire goes heavy on gold, while the water range reflects the colourless, formless existence of water itself with tanzanites, yellow sapphires and yellow diamonds. The wind range boasts of a lavish spread of Russian emeralds, diamonds and uncut diamonds.
This series is going to have a strong impact on social media and offline, with premium hoardings already in Kolkata. “The collection aims at premium customer base, targeted at young brides-to-be and their family members, who are often the key decision makers in purchase of bridal jewellery,” Diwan said.
