Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. hosted a ‘Swachh Bharat Awareness Cycle Ride’ on Gandhi Jayanti
Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. a leading name in Gems and Jewellery industry organised an intensive fitness event ‘Swachh Bharat Awareness Cycle Ride’ to mark the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The ride incepted from three different locations Haji Ali, Ghatkopar & Goregaon till BKC in Mumbai. 450 riders participated enthusiastically in this event which included office employees accompanying with friends and families. Hari Krishna Group has been organising cleanliness drive every year on Gandhi Jayanti in minimum 10 locations in Mumbai.
The major objective to host this Cycle ride was to spread awareness and support the noble cause of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and also aiming to prohibit the usage of plastic. To celebrate 150 th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation, Hari Krishna Group also hosted a Blood Donation Drive in its Seepz (Andheri) office, to emphasise on blood donation awareness and its importance of saving lives. 220 units of blood were collected from the employees and industry mates.
Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder, and Managing Director, Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. said, ‘I believe that a healthy mind and body is crucial for our lives and to do so we organise and run various fitness activities for our employees as well as friends and families. Also, to mark this occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, we promoted this cleanliness drive of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by hosting a ‘Cycle ride’ event. I was pleased to see that everyone actively participated in this cycle ride and made it a successful event.’
