Mumbai: Diamond industry major Hari Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd.  commemorated 12 years of business presence at The Capital, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) recently by holding a blood donation drive. The event brought together the company’s employees, industry partners and volunteers, and ran from 10 am to 6 pm. It saw the collection of 520 units of blood, contributing to a cumulative 19,983 units of blood collected by the brand through donation drives over the years. 

The initiative was held to support healthcare efforts and encourage community participation. It was not just a celebration of HK’s growth but a reaffirmation of its deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility. 

The event was attended by Kirit Bhansali, new Chairman of the GJEPC, along with banking and diamond industry professionals. Medical professionals ensured the donation process was conducted safely, and donors received refreshments and tokens of appreciation. 

Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, Hari Krishna Exports, expressed his gratitude towards the participants, stating, “We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming participation in our blood donation drive. Over the past 12 years, our journey at The Capital has been made possible by the unwavering dedication of our employees, partners and customers. This initiative is not just a celebration of our achievements but a testament to our commitment to giving back to society. We look forward to continuing this tradition of care and responsibility for years to come.”

Hari Krishna Exports began operations in Mumbai in 1994, when the Dholakia brothers—Savjibhai, Tulsibhai, Himmatbhai and Ghanshyambhai—opened their first office at Panchatantra. As the business expanded, the company moved to Shreeji Chambers in 1997 and Prasad Chambers in 2003. In 2013, it established its 44,000 sq. ft. office at BKC, strengthening its presence in the diamond industry.
