GJS2024’s schedule aligns perfectly with the upcoming festive and wedding seasons, providing retailers with an ideal platform to showcase their latest collections and capitalise on peak consumer demand.

Mumbai: The 6th edition of the India Gems and Jewellery Show 2024 (GJS2024), under the banner #HumaraApnaShow, will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, from 25th to 28th September 2024. Strategically aligned with peak demand

One of the key highlights of GJS2024 is its impeccable timing, strategically scheduled just before the peak shopping periods. Taking place 8 days before Navratri, 17 days before Dussehra, 34 days before Dhanteras, 37 days before Diwali, and 48 days before the wedding season, the event offers retailers a prime opportunity to unveil new collections and meet rising consumer demand during these high-traffic periods.

Networking, awards, and industry insights

Alongside the exhibition, GJS Nite 2024, to be held on 25th September, will provide a glamorous networking opportunity for jewellers, retailers, and industry professionals. The evening will feature a fashion showcase, highlighting exquisite collections from leading jewellers.

Attendees will also benefit from a special session, “The Tanishq Story”, featuring C.K. Venkataraman, Managing Director of Titan Company Ltd., and a series of seminars under the “Let’s Talk” initiative. These insightful sessions will offer valuable perspectives on current and future trends in the jewellery market.

Following GJS Nite, the 13th edition of the National Jewellery Awards (NJA) will take place on 26th September 2024, celebrating excellence in design, craftsmanship, and business achievements across the jewellery sector.

Driving growth and innovation

Saiyam Mehra, Chairman of GJC, and Convenor of GJS expressed, “GJS2024 is a gateway to building strong business connections that will drive the growth of the jewellery industry, especially as we approach the festive season. It provides an exciting opportunity for all stakeholders in the jewellery value chain to explore, connect, and expand. Additionally, events like GJS Nite and the prestigious NJA 2024 will further highlight the industry’s creativity and excellence, making GJS2024 an unforgettable experience.”
