Saiyam Mehra, Chairman, GJC, stated, “As an apex industry body, GJC undertakes various initiatives and programmes for the benefit of the entire jewellery value chain. These events are aimed at improving industry business practices, promoting compliance, standardization, and transparency, and promoting professionalism for the growth and development of the industry sector. Also, GJC takes various promotional activities to further the retail businesses as well as manufacturing segments through various dedicated platforms. Organizing PMI is a unique opportunity for GJC and a promotional experience for participants. Jewellers can reap immense benefits through participating in PMI.”

Rajesh Rokde, Vice Chairman, GJC, stated, “In an uncertain market condition and high gold prices, the PMI has proved a game changer for the entire gems and jewellery Industry. As the name suggests, PMI is for the preferred people of the industry and the industry is committed to remaining focussed on its business objectives and goals. That could be the reason why the organizing committee is very particular with the selection process of the retailers and only those are invited to these exclusive shows who are hand-picked to ensure the best matching of seller profiles. “

PMI is conducted in a manner to maintain a perfect blend of business and leisure experience. Moreover, it is held in select cities and towns that have been specially chosen to fill in the gaps between the manufacturers’ and retailers’ demand-and-supply needs. Moreover, every participant gets an equal opportunity to engage with the leading retailers from across the country.

Madan Kothari, Convenor, PMI, commented, “GJC initiates various promotional activities for retail businesses as well as manufacturing segments through various dedicated platforms. Today, PMI is known for its commitment towards providing a fine platform where buyers and sellers get maximum time to understand each other, exchange business ideas, and fulfill commitments for wholesome business growth.”

Chetan Thadeshwar, Joint Convenor, PMI, said, “In my view, there is a need to evolve PMI as a model for doing business through exhibition as it beats all odds and builds stronger bonds amongst the buyer and seller. Bengaluru is an ideal destination for business cum leisure meetings. PMI is an exclusive B2B exhibition that allows retailers from various regions to visit the show and conduct business with the jewellery manufacturers. This event at Bengaluru covers the entire country with the most progressive southern market in particular.”
