#GirlsGotThis: Platinum Evara launches new campaign to muster support for women’s cricket team
The campaign encourages fans to cheer for the ‘Girls in Blue’ via short videos using a filter designed by the brand. Participants also stand a chance to win merchandise signed by the players
Mumbai: In a spirited initiative to rally support for the national women’s cricket team, Platinum Evara has launched an elaborate campaign, using multiple hashtags like #GirlsGotThis and #ProudCheerleadersOfTheWomensCricketTeam, encouraging fans to share their cheers and win exclusive signed merchandise. As the women represent India on the prestigious T20 world cup stage, Platinum Evara’s campaign invites cricket enthusiasts to express their support through unique cheers, showcasing their love for the team.
Platinum Evara took to its social media handle while simultaneously launching OOH activities, asking fans if they are ready to cheer for the ‘Girls in Blue’. The response was overwhelming, with fans offering everything from catchy chants to heartfelt messages in support of the team. To participate, fans were directed to use the Platinum Evara Cheer Collector Filter, simply recording their cheer and sharing it on social media for a chance to win signed merchandise.
“Let’s send a loud and clear message: We are with you, Girls!” said an Instagram post from the brand’s official handle. The brand has dedicated multiple engagement posts for the initiative urging customers to participate. The brand roped in the national team’s ace cricketer Jemimah Jessica Rodrigues for the activity. She made her appearance in a congratulatory video post, thanking fans for participating in the Cheer Collector campaign. The brand has similarly collaborated with other prominent members of the women’s national cricket team, from the likes of Indrani Roy, Disha Kasat and Poonam Khemnar. The brand has also joined hands with Surbhi Vaid, a leading sports presenter.
