Brands celebrate Retail Employees Day by rewarding and pampering their hardworking staff

Organizations treated their employees to a day of indulgence by organizing luncheons, felicitations, and exchanging notes of appreciation

Mumbai: Employees are the backbone of any organization. Increasingly, brands across different sectors have taken note of this and taken active initiatives to recognize and celebrate their achievements and contributions. The jewellery industry thrives on premium hospitality and it is imperative to reward those who take care of and foster direct relationships with customers. Several jewellery brands across India celebrated Retail Employees Day on December 12, 2023 to pamper their staff.

Kirtilals conducted ceremonies across their showrooms. The event included felicitating staff members and honouring top-performing employees with special gifts and trophies. A luncheon and cake-cutting ceremony were organized along the theme of #CheersToYou to foster camaraderie amongst the retail team. 

The company emphasized the pivotal role they play in creating memorable customer experiences and highlighted their passion and enthusiasm which has driven the brand’s success over the years.

Aisshpra Gems & Jewels recently celebrated the 80th anniversary of the brand and launched the #JashnSacchaiKaCampaign. As part of the campaign, the brand is promoting customer testimonials under the hashtag #BharoseKiKahaniyan, bringing to the fore key customer experiences, right from shopping to polite staff, across social media. On Retail Employee Day, the brand extended this campaign by including its employees and honouring them. The entire team was invited to dress in the shared colours of red, click photographs in the selfie booth, and exchange handwritten notes of appreciation across departments, transcending ranks of hierarchy. 

Jaipur Diamonds extended heartfelt birthday wishes to one of it’s employees on the brand’s social media with the hashtag – #OurTeamOurPride, upholding the values of respect, appreciation and gratitude on Retail Employee Day. Other renowned brands such as Sri Vasavi Thanga Maaligai and Senco Gold and Diamonds also put up Instagram stories commemorating the day and appreciated their staff as the true ‘gems’ of the retail jewelllery industry. P.C. Chandra Jewellers shared a message for their employees saying “You are our backbone and our pride.” B.K. Saraf Jewellers acknowledged the integral role their staff play in enhancing customer experience and shared a message stating, “Your brilliance makes every customer’s experience truly precious.” BlueStone Jewellery shared similar wishes stating, “Each one of you is a gem and you add sparkle to every customer’s experience. Thank you for being the heart and soul of BlueStone.”
