A total of 400 guests, including some high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) were invited to the gala, which comprised a jewellery fashion show, games, and an informal get-together

Raipur: Maintaining good relations with clients is an important tenet in the jewellery retail business and with this understanding, Anopchand Tilokchand Jewellers recently organised a gala for its select clientele at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur.

The idea to host this gathering was conceptualised a few months ago when the brand planned to engage with its long-time clients for an exclusive customer experience outside the daily business activities and the showroom. Therefore, about 400 guests from the client list, including some high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) were invited to the gala, which comprised a jewellery fashion show, games and an informal get-together.

“Although we informed the invitees about it on WhatsApp, we also sent them invitation cards to add another layer of personal touch to the whole event,” said Nitin Bardia, Director, Anopchand Tilokchand Jewellers.

The primary goal of the event was customer engagement with a close group of loyal clients. Television actor and diva, Pooja Gor, was invited as the event’s chief guest. The brand also subtly promoted the event on its social media handle with a single reel featuring her. According to Bardiya, the event was more interesting for attendees as the models and participants in the fashion show were the brand’s clients who voluntarily opted to walk the ramp.

“Some of them wore the jewellery collections they had purchased from us earlier and some others chose to wear the jewellery that we offered them for the fashion show. Through this event, we did our bit to make our loyal customers feel special,” explained Bardia.

During the event, a lucky draw contest was also organised for the attendees and the winners were rewarded with gifts. “The event was our way of appreciating and thanking our clients for being our support system for so many years,” continued Bardia, who explained how the fashion show gave confidence to the participants, as most jewellery customers tend to equate walking the ramp with only glamourous models and unattainable standards of beauty.

“Some of our clients have never walked the ramp before or have never seen themselves in the same light as models, who usually present jewellery during fashion shows. This was a feel-good factor for them as they could share the stage with the celebrity guest while wearing our jewellery,” Bardia said.
