Jos Alukkas links lucky draw to Diamond Fest, compelling customers to make purchases

Thrissur: Leading jewellery retailer Jos Alukkashas launched a Diamond Fest, an initiative aimed at captivating the interest of diamond enthusiasts and promoting the brand’s recently launched premium diamond jewellery collection, Nityara. The festival, which runs up to January 2, 2025,has a range of exciting promotions, leading up to a lucky draw, that entices customers to make purchases.
Customers who buy diamonds of any value during the Diamond Fest will receive a coupon, making them eligible for the lucky draw. After the festival ends on January 2, the management will picks even couples as winners, and give them an all-expenses paid vacation – including travel, a two-night stay, and a casino visit -to Goa. This has heightened the excitement and anticipation surrounding the festival.
The Diamond Fest aims to attract a wide audience, cutting across customer segments, regardless of age or preferences. Jos Alukkas is anticipating a 25% increase in footfalls compared to last year, driven by the combination of attractive offers and launch of the Nityara premium diamond jewellery collection, timed just before the Diamond Fest.
This year, the brand has partnered with the Natural Diamond Council to promote the value of natural diamonds. “The Diamond Fest is a celebration of natural diamonds,” said Jos Alukka, Chairman of the Jos Alukkas Group. “We pride ourselves on offering only natural diamonds, ensuring authenticity and brilliance in every piece. This year’s fest blends unmatched offers with exciting prizes to create the perfect opportunity for our customers to enhance their jewellery collection.”
Notably, the Nityara collection features necklaces crafted from premium diamonds and Zambian emeralds. It blends white and green stones, making it versatile enough to pair with both traditional and modern outfits.
With the lucky draw scheme, Jos Alukkas is creating an opportunity to boost sales and increase customer engagement, while promoting the Nityara collection. Social media promotions of the Diamond Fest and lucky draw are not only helping the brand to reach out to a wider audience, but also giving the jeweller the primary benefit of encouraging customers to spend more. Offers for customers include a 500-milligram gold coin for every carat of diamond purchased. Customers will also have the opportunity to exchange their old gold for internationally lab-certified diamonds.
Jos Alukkas recently inaugurated its 60th retail showroom, located at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 1964, the company has expanded from a family-owned business to a significant participant in the gold, diamond and platinum jewellery market throughout India, with stores across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
