With hologram display and an awe-inspiring 3D experience, the lab-grown diamond brand’s new store aligns with the brand’s philosophy of exquisite designs that can be seen on display, rather than on catalogues

Hyderabad: Limelight Lab-grown Diamonds has recently launched its new store in the city of Nizams – Hyderabad at Somajiguda – the jewel centre of the city. Known for its commitment to sustainable luxury, the brand is all set to offer an unconventional shopping experience of eco-friendly lab grown diamond (LGD) jewellery. The glamorous store launch was graced by prominent influencers of Hyderabad including the new Nizam of the Asaf Jahi family Nb. Raunaq Yar Khan’ as an apt choice to inaugurate the new store.

Real diamond rocks that previously were sourced from the mines are now grown in India through the CVD diamond technology. This is validated by all diamond grading authorities like GIA, IGI, SGL etc. CVD diamonds are eco-friendly and save up on heavy mining costs. A ring studded with 1 carat of a natural diamond costs Rs. 5 lacs at the retail end. The same identical ring costs Rs. 1 lakh.

Since time immemorial, Hyderabad has been associated with diamonds from the historic Golconda mines and is a city of colourful bustling jewel bazaars. The city of Nizams is a conscious choice for Limelight’s 1800+ sq. ft 3-storey store to cater to a tasteful clientele who are diamond enthusiasts. Limelight’s new store aligns with the brand’s philosophy of exquisite designs that can be seen on display, rather than on catalogues. Consumers were in for a treat with the marvel of a hologram display and an awe-inspiring 3D experience, making their visit memorable. Customer services include design customization, lifetime buyback, and 100% exchange guarantee.

Founded by Pooja Sheth Madhavan, Managing Director, Limelight Lab-grown Diamonds, the brand has had a remarkable journey, transforming into a celebrated name in the jewellery industry. Speaking about the industry and the new store, she adds, “Every industry has faced the tides of change with the arrival of technology in that industry, such that one is forced to embrace the change that comes with it. So far the diamond industry was driven by the miners and their ability to control supply and inflate prices to earn high profits. Or what else could logically explain that 1-carat natural diamond retails at Rs. 5 lakh and a 5-carat ring (that should be 5x) sells 20x higher at over Rs. 1 crore! Now thanks to technology, the same diamond rock is grown, that too in India, without harming the earth and at the same time through reduced costs and no monopolistic manipulations of pricing. That in no ways means that the diamond is not the same. Carbon is carbon – whether accumulated below the earth or above the earth. And no marketing narrative can change the factual composition of this product. Moreover, diamonds grown through CVD technology are superior as they don’t come with traceable nitrogen or boron impurities, making them shine brighter with better lustre. 98% of mined diamonds have nitrogen or boron impurities in them. This clearly implies that India grows CVD diamonds that are superior in quality! The Indian government has also supported the production of CVD diamonds in India and we at Limelight truly believe in fulfilling the nation’s dream of being “Atmanirbhar” by offering our own homegrown diamond studded jewellery to our own Indian customers!”

Limelight Lab-grown Diamonds has established itself as the go-to destination for all things solitaire, which offers a wide range of exquisite solitaire rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklines that reflect a perfect blend of a new-age technology and traditional fine jewellery. The brand’s jewellery combines craftsmanship and elegance, offering sustainable luxury that allows consumers to make a responsible and conscious choice for the environment.

With the growing presence, the brand marks another milestone in its continuing journey. Over the years, Limelight has been able to spread its wings in India with a network of 8 stores, 40+ shop-in-shops and a thriving presence in 25+ cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata etc. With a visionary plan of further expansions across India and globally, Hyderabad is a step towards the growth of the brand, fulfilling the brand’s aim of catering to a wide-ranging consumer base.
