Delhi: Zoya, from the House of Tata, recently hosted a vibrant gala celebrating the atelier’s storied legacy while raising a toast to its eternal muse, the Zoya Woman. With celebrated designer Gauri Khan and Amanpreet Ahluwalia, Business Head of Zoya as the stars of the evening, the brand showcased the artistry of four exquisite collections of wearable art embodying the essence of the Zoya Woman.

‘Rooted’, ‘Banaras’, ‘Beyond – A Boundless Journey’, and ‘Her Becoming’ were the four collections as highlights of the event. Rooted drew metaphoric inspiration from the resilience of rainforests, while Banaras encompassed the rich heritage of the eternal city. Beyond A Boundless Journey took inspiration from the feminine spirit of the Indus River, while Zoya’s high jewellery collection, Her Becoming, revelled in white diamonds featuring unusual stone cuts like Cadillacs, trapezoids and custom-cut baguettes, inspired by ancient Ikat patterns.

“I am delighted to join Zoya in celebrating its iconic collections that narrate stories from India to the world. The atelier continues to redefine luxury jewellery for the modern era with its collections,” said Gauri Khan. “Whether it’s a statement necklace or a delicate bracelet, every piece speaks volumes about the woman who wears it – confident, fearless, and unapologetically herself.” Khan wore a magnificent necklace from Zoya’s ‘Her Becoming’ collection titled ‘A Radiant Revelation’, which weaves 738 diamonds with 132 diversely cut natural rubies. A 1.00 Ct radiant-cut solitaire sits at its heart, magnified by vertically aligned baguettes inspired by the ancient art of weaving Ikat.

The evening at Taj Mansingh was an immersion into the iconic beauty of Zoya’s collections, celebrating the essence of the atelier’s design heritage and elegance. Speaking about the purpose of the event, Amanpreet Ahluwalia, Business Head of Zoya, upheld the persona of the Zoya woman – a nurturer, a wanderer, a dreamer, and an ambitious go-getter. “We see her breaking free from patriarchal and societal expectations, finding ways to authentically reconnect with her deep feminine. She now engages more deeply with her personal aspirations finding clarity of purpose within. Zoya’s jewellery symbolizes her connection to herself and her celebration of simply being herself.”

From a business viewpoint, the event served to provide an exclusive experience to Zoya’s patrons. “This celebratory soirée of art, music and fashion was brought alive Zoya’s exquisite designs and artistic vision in a vibrant expression of luxury. Gauri Khan has been a long-standing friend of the House, who is known for her sophisticated aesthetic. Her presence underscored the value we place on our indulging our guests with the warm luxury and delight that Zoya is known for,” Amanpreet concluded.
