Vardhman Jewellers concludes mega lucky draw launched to celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti
Customers had the chance to win multiple prizes, including three scooters, three diamond rings, three laptops and many more through the brand’s digital gold app
Jabalpur: To celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti, Vardhman Jewellers launched a mega lucky draw with big give-aways for customers. Buyers of the brand’s jewellery had the chance to win multiple prizes, including three scooters, three diamond rings, three laptops and other items generally coveted by consumers.
To add to the excitement, Vardhman Jewellers gave away a free gram of silver to every participant. Participants could enter the lucky draw by downloading the Vardhman Jewellers digital gold app and scanning the QR code to register. The app allows customers to buy jewellery with the standard instalment scheme. It also offers other digital gold schemes. The brand has aggressively promoted its digital gold app with indirect marketing tools such as educational content about digital gold investments in general. The brand also took the aid of meme marketing, using clips from famous Bollywood comedies to promote the lucky draw. Over 700 posts on Instagram by the brand showcase its intent to utilize the platform to reach out to a broader audience.
Notably, Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurparab, is one of the most significant festivals for Sikhs, celebrating the birth of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. People celebrate it with prayers, feasts and charitable acts. When it comes to buying jewellery for this occasion, the emphasis is often on spiritual significance and tradition rather than luxury or showiness. Gold and silver are traditional choices for special occasions for Sikhs, just like it is for other Indian festivals. A lot of Sikhs wear jewellery that has symbols of their faith to honour their spiritual roots. Some of the jewellery includes Khanda pendant (combining two swords), Ik Onkar pendant (sacred symbol for One God) and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Pendants, engraved with verses from the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. Vardhman Jewellers released multiple social media posts to felicitate winners of the mega lucky draw across their social media platforms. The creatives alongside the post were quirky and conveyed the idea efficiently. The jeweller’s flagship store is positioned in a vibrant locality of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
