Thangamayil Jewellery celebrates new showroom opening in Coimbatore with an anthem dedicated to the city

The vibrant ‘We love Coimbatore’ music video celebrates the city’s cultural heritage, industrial success and historical significance. Thangamayil Jewellery, with over 650K YouTube subscribers, is promoting the anthem through robust social media posts
Coimbatore: For the grand opening of its third showroom in Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore, Thangamayil Jewellery has come up with a unique idea – it has paid tribute to Coimbatore by releasing a vibrant anthem dedicated to the city.
The Coimbatore Anthem ‘We love Coimbatore’, sung by popular singer Sreekanth Hariharan, highlights the city’s rich cultural heritage, industrial excellence and historical significance. Nestled by the Western Ghats and the Noyyal River, Coimbatore is Tamil Nadu’s second-largest metropolis, after Chennai, and serves as a hub for trade, education and development. The anthem also pays tribute to Coimbatore’s roots in Chera history and its position on the ancient trade route of Rasakesari Peruvazhi.
The brand has posted the upbeat music video across multiple social media platforms. Like many of its contemporaries, Thangamayil Jewellery enjoys massive visibility across its social media platforms. The brand joins a select club of jewellery retailers that command a sizeable presence on YouTube thanks to its robust long-form content strategy. The brand has over 650K subscribers on the platform.
This melodious tribute Coimbatore Anthem captures Coimbatore’s essence as a city that seamlessly bridges its glorious past with a progressive future. Thangamayil Jewellery invites the community to join in celebrating this dynamic city and the opening of its new showroom in Kuniyamuthur. The music video is an organic way to engage a local audience with themes evoking regional pride and a sense of community.
The brand currently operates more than 59 stores across the country, majorly in the southern States. In July this year, the Madurai-based listed jeweller laid out plans to spend nearly Rs 400 crore in FY25 to open 8 mid and small-sized stores and one flagship store in Chennai. The company’s board has approved this plan.
