Oman India Investment Fund sells over Rs 75 cr in Senco gold shares

Amidst this development, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance purchased 4.9 lakh shares in Senco Gold at Rs. 1,280 per share
Mumbai — The Oman India Investment Fund has divested shares worth over Rs. 75 crore in fine jewellery brand Senco Gold through an open market transaction. In the process, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance acquired a 0.63% stake in the company.
According to data from the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Oman India Investment Fund II sold 5.89 lakh shares, equating to a 0.76% stake in Senco Gold, at an average price of Rs. 1,280.16 per share. The total transaction value reached Rs. 75.52 crore. Following this sale, the Fund’s stake in Senco Gold has decreased from 2.03% to 1.27%.
