Lucknow: The 10th edition of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organization U.P. Women’s Awards, a celebration of culture, empowerment and tradition, saw a significant partnership between Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers and FICCI FLO Lucknow. The event highlighted the growing intersection of women’s empowerment with the rich cultural heritage of India.

The evening wasn’t just about recognizing the contributions of seven outstanding women to society, but also about celebrating the intricate connection between India’s timeless traditions and the role of women in preserving and redefining them. With the spotlight on National Saree Day, the event showcased a stunning tribute to the six-yard wonder. As participants draped in beautiful sarees graced the stage, they were not just wearing fabric, but embodying the strength, resilience, and elegance that define their culture. The sarees, representative of India’s diverse heritage, were paired with jewellery from Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers, known for its exquisite Jewels of Awadh collection.

The collaboration was more than a mere showcase of fashion; it was a powerful statement on the power of heritage in empowering women. The sarees and jewellery complemented each other, blending the elegance of traditional attire with the appeal of handcrafted jewellery. Each piece of jewellery from Lala Jugal Kishore, meticulously crafted in the Awadhi style, told its own story, much like the women being honoured that evening. For these women, the saree was a symbol of both empowerment and a deep connection to their roots.

As the models walked the ramp, adorned in sarees and the intricate jewels, they not only celebrated the beauty of their attire but also paid homage to their legacy. The jewellery added another layer of significance to the sarees, reiterating the notion that heritage is not just something to remember but something to live, wear and pass down.
