Kothari Jewellers returns as title sponsor for JITO Jabalpur Cricket League 2.0, after successful inaugural year

The jeweller will conduct lucky draws, with gold coin giveaways and exclusive jewellery-related prizes, to foster a connection with the brand
Jabalpur: Kothari Jewellers has returned as title sponsor of the JITO Jabalpur Cricket League 2.0, scheduled from March 22 to 25, 2025, following the success of its sponsorship in the tournament’s inaugural year. This year’s event promises to be bigger than the earlier one, with eight teams, each representing a different business group from the region. With an expected audience of over 5,000 people across four days, the league is set to bring together a vibrant mix of sports enthusiasts, local families and business professionals, making it an exciting prospect for Kothari Jewellers.
A new feature for 2025 is the introduction of player bidding, which is sure to bring extra excitement and competition. Kothari Jewellers’ involvement goes beyond the sponsorship, with numerous prizes and giveaways by the brand adding to the event’s energy. The prizes are valued at over Rs 5 lakh, and include gold coins and cash rewards for special recognitions like ‘Man of the Match’, ‘Best Fielder’ and ‘Six of the Day’.
The jeweller also aims to keep the audience engaged through lucky draws, gold coin giveaways and exclusive jewellery-related prizes, to foster a connection with the brand.
Ashish Kothari, Chairman of Kothari Group, highlighted that the brand’s collaboration with the JITO Cricket League is part of its marketing strategy to engage with the local community. “By being actively involved in such a popular event, we aim to strengthen our connection with the people of Jabalpur. This collaboration provides us with an opportunity for branding and exposure, which helps drive our business growth,” he added. He emphasized that while last year’s event saw good attendance, this year’s focus will be on enhancing community interaction and engagement.
Kothari Jewellers’ sponsorship this year builds on the success of its involvement in local cricket events in 2024. Last year, the brand also sponsored the Men’s Premier League and the Inter Ladies Club Women’s Premier League, hosted by Viaana Sports Arena. The 2024 events featured 10 men’s teams and 12-14 women’s teams, and cash prizes and jewellery vouchers were given out to top players, not only making Kothari Jewellers stand out as a brand, but also showing its support for local sports.
“We’ve garnered great response from our involvement with this cricket tournament in the past, and this year we are expecting even greater participation,” said Vardhaman Kothari, Director of Kothari Jewellers. “For us, this is not just about branding, but about engaging with our community and creating meaningful connections.”
Founded in 2001 with a single store in Jabalpur, Kothari Jewellers has grown significantly over the years. Its continued support for local events like the JITO Jabalpur Cricket League reflects its commitment to community engagement in the course of business growth, strengthening its ties with the people of Jabalpur.
