IIG 27th Virtual Convocation Ceremony In association with IBJA

India’s Pioneer Institute – International Institute of Gemology proudly celebrated their first-ever Virtual Convocation Ceremony in association with India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd on 10th of April 2021.

Celebrating a 50 plus years old legacy of perseverance, perfection and success.
IIG has an environment of collaboration and creativity driven by old-age educational methods that encourage, enable & empower students in their holistic development. The aim is to provide integral education, skill sets and values needed to design a purposeful career in the flourishing Jewellery Domain.

Year after year, the enthusiasm of students and the entire IIG Team have been raised on its mission to provide world-class education in the Gems & Jewellery Domain. Held on 10th April 2021, the ceremony was graced with the valuable virtual presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Nilesh Gupta – President (IBJA Skill Development Council), the Guest of Honor, CA Surendra Mehta – National Secretary (IBJA) and the very special guest – Mr. Alan Hart, CEO of Gem-A, the world’s oldest and established provider of Gems and Jewellery education. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Hemal Soni (Founder-Director, Jewelxy Marketplace Pvt. Ltd.)

The eminent stalwarts of the industry shared their insights & experiences which had helped the students in maneuvering their career story.

Chief Guest, Mr. Nilesh Gupta – President (IBJA Skill Development Council) felicitated Mr. Rahul Desai for his fantastic contribution to the industry. He enunciated the growing format of IBJA & advised students to look at the benefits of the customer for driving the business in the correct direction.

CA Surendra Mehta – National Secretary (IBJA) deliberated; You can do & achieve anything in your life, stick to one thing, learn something new every day and strictly follow your guru/mentor.

The special guest – Mr. Alan Hart, CEO of Gem-A, the world’s oldest and established provider of Gems and Jewellery education deliberated his collaborations with IIG, how students shall always look for opportunities, get influenced by the right set of people, and shall network vigorously. Life-long learning is the key to success. He had even wished students good luck for their future endeavours.

Mr. Hemal Soni – Founder & Director of Jewelxy Marketplace Pvt. Ltd. motivated the students and wholeheartedly thanked all our attendees and guests for their active participation. Event was hosted by Mrs. Gunjan Sapra – Co. HOD IIG Jewellery Designing Dept.

Mr. Rahul Desai, Director of IIG felicitated the gems of IIG with sheer pride. He enunciated “We’re so happy that 50+ Offline & 35+ Online students have achieved the great milestone of their life, despite the most challenging year 2020-21. Wishing all the students tremendous success with their ambitions and career plans.”
