IGI empowers the retail team and end consumers at Londe Jewellers
The International Gemological Institute, IGI, conducted a Retail Support Program for the sales team of Londe Jewellers at Nagpur. This was followed by the IGI Know Your Diamond Jewelry seminar for the end consumers where about three hundred end consumers and diamond enthusiasts were given a detailed understanding of the many aspects in solitaires and fine jewelry.
Known to help retail teams across the country, the program assisted the sales personnel in refining their selling techniques. The training extends an exemplary understanding of diamonds- its journey from the mines to the market as well as that of the 4C’s. Complete knowledge of diamonds and fine jewelry is imperative to a smooth retail journey and IGI strongly believes that sharing of knowledge with the end consumer is an indispensable part of the customer empowerment process. The retail support program is IGI’s initiative towards helping retail brands enhance their expertise thereby increasing their brand image and sales quotient.
The Know Your Diamond Jewelry seminar was well attended by the jeweler’s esteemed clientele wherein they were enlightened about the many aspects in a diamond. “We, at Londe Jewellers, are truly grateful to team IGI for the extensive training and knowledge sharing sessions. Our employees have surely benefited from the sessions and the customers too, have gained major insights about diamonds and fine jewelry. We hope to utilize the knowledge shared in our future course of business,”said Rajesh Londhe of Londhe Jewellers.
From things to remember while purchasing fine jewelry to evaluating the jewelry grading certificate, the session helped the end consumers understand the intrinsic characteristics that make a diamond. IGI provides customized training seminars and conferences to an increasing number of jewelry retailers and manufacturers. These programs are jointly developed based on the individual needs of each company. The Know Your Diamond Jewelry seminar is exclusively developed to help customers understand the various aspects in diamonds and to make an informed purchase.
