Belgee Jewellers launches floral-themed Gulzar 2.0 collection for the wedding season
The collection draws inspiration from natural and floral themes. Gulzar 2.0 includes a range of lightweight and more ornate jewellery set with polki, pearl, and coloured gemstones to cater to a vast customer demographic
New Delhi: New Delhi-based jewellery brand Belgee Jewellers recently launched their Gulzar 2.0 collection. Inspired by the Urdu word, ‘Gulzar’ which translates to ‘blooming,’ the collection is steeped in labyrinthine floral themes and botanical blossoms. It is designed to create the experience of astonishment and delight while wandering through a garden and chancing upon natural wonders.
Like its predecessor, Gulzar 2.0 is primarily a polki collection – celebrating the brand’s handcrafted artisanry married with the allure of precious gemstones and uncut diamonds. The collection includes a variety of ornaments including more lightwear earrings, rings, bracelets and danglers as well as heavier and more ornate necklaces and maang-tikas.
The jewels in Gulzar 2.0 are set with pearl and coloured gemstones such as sapphires, emeralds, and rubies. Their designs are deliberately sleek, minimalist and relatable — the brand intends for customers to experience a sense of the ordinary wonders of the natural world in their trousseau.
Shital Gupta, Creative Head, Belgee Jewellers said, “With it being the festive season, customers are moving away from collections that exercise restraint and use subdued colours. Gulzar 2.0 and its vivid, visceral colour palette are meant to stay true to the pulse of this celebratory time.”
