Akshaya Gold and Diamonds ropes in Vidya Balan as brand ambassador, discloses plans with her

The brand’s next campaign will feature a voice-over by the actor on transparency and customer engagement, with content targeted at its core audience in Palakkad
Palakkad: Akshaya Gold and Diamonds, a prominent name in the retail jewellery space in Kerala, has recently roped in Vidya Balan as its brand ambassador. The brand is celebrating its anniversary with a new campaign. As part of the promotion, the brand is presenting “12 reasons to shop” which corresponds to 12 exclusive offers for customers. The campaign concluded in mid-November, with digital promotions and social media engagement featuring Instagram and also offline media channels.
The brand is planning a new photoshoot in the coming weeks, but unlike the first few campaigns, there will be no in-person appearance by Vidya Balan. Instead, Balan will contribute a voice-over for the campaign. According to Rashid, General Manager, Akshaya Gold and Diamonds, this marks the primary involvement of the actor for the brand’s anniversary celebrations. Although the promotional content will be shot in Mumbai, it is majorly targeted towards the brand’s core audience in Palakkad.
The company is continuing its push for transparency with customers, offering further campaign details and clarifying any questions through their digital platforms. “We want to make sure our customers are fully informed, whether it’s about our anniversary offers or other details,” Rashid said.
The digital story about the anniversary campaign is now live across the brand’s platforms, allowing customers to learn more and take advantage of the ongoing promotions.
The Palakkad-based brand has over 38K followers on Instagram, making it a formidable marketing channel for the brand. The brand’s showroom in the city covers 12,000 sq. ft across four floors and features a wide range of jewellery, including a dedicated floor for diamonds
