International Institute of Gemology and Gem-A collaborate for gemmology course in India

The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) has announced a collaboration with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) to introduce the Gemmology Diploma course, the opportunity to become a Fellow of the Gemmological Association (FGA) to India. As part of this partnership, IIG is set to become an Accredited Teaching Centre (ATC) for Gem-A, further solidifying its commitment to excellence in gem education.
The collaboration between IIG and Gem-A was officially launched on October 01, 2023 at the prestigious GJS Show in the presence of Alan Hart, Chief Executive Officer, Gem-A, and Rahul Desai, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, International Institute of Gemology, along with several industry leaders. This momentous occasion marked the beginning of an exciting journey towards expanding gemological education in India and promoting excellence in the field.
The Gemmology Diploma course offered by Gem-A is globally recognized as a hallmark of quality and expertise in the field of gemmology. With this collaboration, IIG aims to bring this world-class gemological education to aspiring gem enthusiasts, professionals, and students in India.
IIG, in collaboration with Gem-A, will offer the Gemmology Diploma course in India, providing students with access to an internationally acclaimed curriculum. This course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the gem and jewellery industry.
