Diwansons Jewellers’ Digi Gold gives customers a plethora of choices

The mobile app called Goldsaver eases the process of investing in digital gold, ensuring that the brand’s existing base of jewellery customers can explore alternative forms of investment
Kolkata: Digital gold has emerged as a secure form of investment over the last decade, even as customers continue to purchase gold in jewellery form. While digital gold was a product offered only by banks and financial institutions earlier, retail jewellers are also adding the product to their portfolio now, and one of the latest to join the bandwagon is Kolkata-based Diwansons Jewellers.
The brand’s product Digi Gold is designed to provide customers with a seamless and convenient gold investment experience. According to Diwansons, digital gold can be redeemed for physical gold jewellery from the brand’s offerings whenever a customer wishes.
The mobile application called Goldsaver allows users to buy digital gold even in small quantities, from anywhere and at any time. The application and the product have been received well by customers.
According to the brand, the capital not only allows it to maintain a healthy inventory but also enables it to innovate and come up with newer and exclusive designs.

Rozelle Diwan, Executive Director, Diwansons Jewellers says, “The mobile application is already live on the Google Play Store and will be launched on Apple Store in the near future.”
With a mobile app to ease the process of investing in digital gold, the brand wants to ensure that its existing base of jewellery customers can explore alternative forms of investment. It aims to cater to a wider audience, ensuring that users across different platforms can enjoy the app’s features seamlessly.
“The app and Digi Gold are a means to explore the scope to convert digital gold users into jewellery customers,” adds Diwan. Considering the ease of using a mobile application to make an investment, the brand aims to keep encouraging users to invest in the product while also exploring gold jewellery from the brand.
According to Diwan, the brand has seen a surge in downloads as people have shown a keen interest in the digital products. One of the main advantages of digital gold is that customers can lock in their gold holdings at a favourable price, capitalizing on the consistent returns that gold historically provides.
