Chennai: Legacy jewellery brand AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers has announced acclaimed actor Arvind Swamy as the group’s official brand ambassador, after a teaser campaign on Instagram.
The brand’s post on Monday said, “Some connections go beyond gold. They’re built on values, legacy, and pride. A man who mirrors our spirit is joining the AVR Swarna Mahal family.”
The brand’s second post said, “He’s bold. He’s brilliant. And now, he’s the face of AVR Swarna Mahal. Any guesses who this iconic gentleman is? Hint: He shines just like our gold – timeless and powerful!”
In a third post, the brand said, “He redefined grace on screen. Now, he’s bringing that same timeless charm to our legacy. Can you guess who’s the face of AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers?”
The fourth post finally revealed the name of actor Arvind Swamy as the brand ambassador. Known for his sophistication, enduring appeal and deep-rooted connection with audiences across generations, Arvind Swamy mirrors the very ethos of AVR Swarna Mahal, where tradition meets timeless elegance. His association heralds a new chapter for the brand, focused on strengthening its bond with discerning customers across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and beyond.
The group’s leadership – A.B.S. Sanjjay (Managing Director), S. Saumyha (Joint Managing Director), A.V.R. Siddhanth (Director) and A.V.R.Shree Smaran (Director) – together expressed their enthusiasm about the collaboration.

AVR Swarna Mahal is now a leading jewellery house in South India, with its 25,000 sq. ft showroom set up at Swarnapuri, Salem in 2004. The brand is present in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, with 16 locations and 20 branches across the two States. The group owns silver brand Vendi, founded in 2021, which has built a strong retail footprint in Bengaluru and Chennai.
