With lavish decor, private shopping cabins, live bridal displays, and the Kanku Pagla ceremony which resonated deeply with customers, the brand received widespread response to the initiative across all its outlets

Surat: Kalamandir Jewellers recently held a Bridal Mela, aimed at providing a unique shopping experience for brides-to-be. Upon entering the event, attendees were greeted with a lavish set-up featuring crystal chandeliers, floral arches, and traditional Indian decor, designed to evoke the feeling of a wedding day. This floor was named ‘Saj Dhaj Ke floor’.

To create a more personalized shopping atmosphere, Kalamandir Jewellers offered private cabins where brides could book appointments in advance. This allowed families to browse and discuss jewellery selections in a relaxed setting.

Live displays of bridal looks added an interactive element, as brides tried on pieces and shared their looks on screens for family and friends to see. Large TVs were placed in the waiting areas for families to see the bride-to-be in real time. A dedicated studio room was also available for brides to get ready.

One of the highlights of the event was the emotional Kanku Pagla ceremony, a traditional ritual representing a bride’s first step into her new home. This moment resonated deeply with attendees, creating meaningful connections. Every bride received gifts, including a Silver Soubhagya Vati Bhav Shrifal (coconut symbolizing good fortune) and a Kanku Pagla Box, adding a personal touch to the experience.
