JGP Jewellers has a legacy spanning over six decades and has expanded its presence across Maharashtra and Goa during this period. The business, established by Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar, is now led by his son, Dr Anand Jagannath Pednekar, and daughter-in-law, Asavari Pednekar, who oversee its operations and expansion.
The Gold Exchange Festival allows customers to exchange gold jewellery purchased from any jeweller. The process includes purity assessment and guidance during the exchange. Customers can also avail of other benefits as part of the programme.
The company said the initiative is based on the continued holding of gold jewellery in many households, where items may no longer be used but retain value. The exchange programme enables customers to convert such jewellery into new pieces for continued use.
