The ‘Jewels of Joy’ Loyalty Milestone
Joyalukkas Group hosted a ‘Jewels of Joy’ ceremony in Thrissur to honour 222 employees who completed over 20 years with the firm, by rewarding these veterans with a bonus equivalent to five months’ salary and fully sponsored international trips for the employees and their spouses. The event was inaugurated by Chairman and Managing Director Joy Alukkas, who described it as a tribute to the employees who have played a significant role in the growth of this company. This event highlighted that rewarding the staff who know your multi-generational customers by name is often more cost-effective than constant recruitment.

The Holistic Health Audit for Karigars
In an attempt to acknowledge, recognise, and resolve the physical toll of precision diamond work, Hari Krishna Exports recently conducted an ‘Employee Health Seminar’ in Mumbai. This seminar brought over 650 manufacturing and administrative staff along with their family members, to participate in featured sessions led by naturopath Atul Shah from Ojas Life. The employees were introduced to ergonomic workshops and preventative healthcare screenings to strengthen their wellness through ergonomic workshops, and holistic fitness initiatives. This was a structured approach to enhance both physical resilience and mental health of their karigars. Through this initiative, Hari Krishna Exports set a culture of ‘Employee First’ sustainability, highlighting a growing trend among Indian exporters to adopt global ESG standards at the grassroots level, and ensuring the workforce is physically and mentally resilient for the high-demand festive seasons ahead.
