#SelfLove2025: Jewellery House by Harshitah helps clients to co-create deeply personal jewellery pieces

Adopting a new approach to creating bespoke jewellery, the brand hosted a three-day workshop, and invited clients to its Guwahati showroom for private one-on-one sessions with its in-house designers to fashion jewellery that begins with their own story

Guwahati: Jewellery House by Harshitah recently concluded a three-day jewellery ideation workshop titled ‘Self Love 2025’ at its flagship showroom in Guwahati. The event invited clients to co-create deeply personal jewellery pieces through private one-on-one sessions with the brand’s in-house designers.

Unlike conventional jewellery customization, the workshop encouraged participants to conceptualize their pieces from scratch — selecting stones, shapes, and sentimental elements based on personal memories and stories. Clients were invited to narrate their emotions, stories, and preferences, which served as inspiration for the final design. According to founder Harshitah Agarwal, the aim was to move beyond ready-made designs and instead offer clients the opportunity to “ideate” pieces that reflect their identity.

“This wasn’t about tweaking ready-made pieces,” Agarwal explained. “It was about deconstructing jewellery as we know it and building something that holds emotional meaning.”

The exclusive workshop saw 13 to 15 participants from the brand’s loyal customer base. Designers then refined the clients’ vision to create one-of-a-kind pieces ranging from rings to bridal sets. Each piece was designed to embody personal stories, making the experience not only luxurious but also intimate.

While initially a limited event, the response has led to growing demand for similar bespoke services beyond the original workshop dates. “People now know that we’re open to designing jewellery that begins with their story,” Agarwal said. “It’s more than customization — it’s co-creation.”

Jewellery House by Harshitah, known for its appointment-only model, wants to continue to prioritize personalized design experiences and client background research as part of its philosophy. Addtionally, the brand also shared plans to launch a new design framework based on the 60-30-10 concept — where 60% of a piece’s price is gold, 30% is for gemstones, and 10% is for design execution.

The ‘Self- Love 2025’ initiative is expected to evolve into a long-term offering, becoming a defining service for the brand.

Jewellery House by Harshitah recently inaugurated its flagship store, situated near Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar.
