IIJS will be the perfect stage for us to foray into retail
Amit Jagwani of Notandas & Sons believes in maintaining your connections to rise and shine through the bleak business stretch
What are your views on the first-ever virtual IIJS?
The virtual platform is growing at a breakneck speed globally and IIJS has started well. We are into the manufacturing business for 30 years now, but I feel the time has come to spread our wings into the retail part. So, we are participating in the virtual show to exhibit our new collections.
Tell us something about the jewellery you plan to showcase for IIJS, and also for the upcoming festive and marriage seasons
We are focussing more on lightweight jewellery as ticket sizes have gone down. We have trendy, modern and lightweight designs in gold, diamond and polki in our kitty. We have come up with a new polki collection, which is multi-functional and authentic.
What is your message for the entire trade fraternity on market trends in the next 6 months?
I think we must be more innovative and maintain good connections with clients. If we give them more sustainable options that involve recycle and reuse, we might make about 70-75% of our target numbers.
