The grand awards ceremony turned the spotlight on outstanding advancements in design, original ideas and excellence in concept and creation of jewellery as it brought together India’s top jewellery retailers under one roof in the 20th year of the awards
Mumbai: The 20th INDRA Retail Jeweller India Awards 2025 brought the jewellery fraternity together for an unforgettable evening of glamour and grandeur, as it celebrated excellence in jewellery design in India at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, on Friday, August 1, 2025. Recognised as India’s first and foremost design awards platform in the Indian jewellery retail industry, the event drew top-notch jewellers from across the country.
The 20th INDRA Retail Jeweller India Awards 2025 was presented by the Indian Natural Diamond Retailers Alliance (INDRA), and powered by the World Gold Council. It had Shringar – House of Mangalsutra, Shankesh Jewellers and ShineShilpi Jewellers as associate partners, while Divergent Insights served as the official process auditors, and Sequel as the logistics partner. Marking its milestone 20th edition, the awards platform has evolved over the years to reflect greater depth of craftsmanship and creativity, backed by technology-led advancements in the realm of design creation.
Speaking at the event, Amit Pratihari, Managing Director, De Beers India, who is also spearheading INDRA, said, “This award property unites the entire jewellery industry on one platform to celebrate excellence and inspires us all to raise the bar even higher.”

The fair and discerning judging process by the jury comprising elite jewellery connoisseurs ensured that the best jewellery designs were declared the winners. Jury members Ananya Banerjee, Celebrity Chef; Namrata Shroff, Founder of Powna Sake & NVS Design; Vaishali Shadangule, Fashion Designer, Avni Patel, Founder and Design Principal, Arth Architecture, Supriya Mody, Founder & CEO, FurtureMe, fashion curator Tanaz Doshi, and Schauna Chauhan, CEO, Parle Agro graced the red carpet and presented the awards to the winners at the 20th INDRA Retail Jeweller India Awards. Other members of the jury were Kanika Tekriwal, Founder, JetSetGo, Pria Kataaria Puri, Fashion Designer, Akriti Ahuja Khurana, Founder and CEO, LaFeria Events, Avarna Jain, Chairperson, RPSG Media and Brijeshwari Kumari Gohil, Founder, Bhavnagar Heritage.
The top five nominations in each category were showcased in a dazzling display at the venue, allowing attendees to experience the exceptional craftsmanship and storytelling behind every piece of jewellery. The final winners in 24 categories were honoured on the awards stage, bringing the spotlight on those who continue to redefine the jewellery landscape.

Khurana Jewellery House, Amritsar, walked away with three awards – Natural Diamond Ring of the Year, Precious Coloured Gemstone Earring of the Year and Coloured Gemstone Earring of the Year.
Newcomer Indriya, from the Aditya Birla Group, bagged Bridal Gold Antique (Studded) Jewellery of the Year, making its debut at the awards.
As the curtains fell on the grand evening, the message was clear: the Retail Jeweller India Awards continues to champion creative brilliance and honour those who shape the future of Indian jewellery while setting new design benchmarks each year.
TOP RETAILERS JOIN HANDS WITH PROJECT INDRA
Among the evening’s key moments was the introduction of Project INDRA, a joint initiative by the De Beers Group and the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), with the Retail Jeweller India as trade partner. Aimed at strengthening India’s diamond jewellery retail ecosystem, the programme focuses on equipping retailers with advanced training in marketing and sale of natural diamonds, offering strategic support to drive growth. Taking the stage to speak about the initiative, Amit Pratihari highlighted how Project INDRA is working to enhance craftsmanship, boost retail performance and reinforce India’s position as a global hub for natural diamonds.
Some of the country’s top jewellery retailers, who are already on board as part of Project INDRA, were felicitated on stage.
