The two-day event drew around 70 participants, including FICCI FLO members, brides-to-be and the brand’s long-standing clients
Indore: Punjabi Saraf recently hosted ‘Style and Sparkle’ – a series of interactive sessions on personal styling and jewellery – at its showroom in Indore. It brought together members of event partner FICCI FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), along with select clients of the brand for two days of learning and activities designed to influence their jewellery-buying decisions.
Around 70 participants attended the sessions, led by an expert, over two days. The first day was primarily attended by FICCI FLO members, while the second day focused on Punjabi Saraf’s clients, especially brides-to-be and families preparing their trousseau. The event included a wide mix of high-net-worth individuals, young professionals and long-standing customers of the brand.
The brand brought in Rittika Karvat, a well-known trousseau planner, personal shopper and diamond concierge, for the event, adding a consultative approach to the engagement. She guided participants through styling exercises that demonstrated how jewellery choices could be influenced by features such as face shape, skin tone and personal preferences. Activities included peer styling, real-time evaluation and knowledge aspects such as learning to identify certification marks on solitaires. The sessions also explained the four Cs of diamonds, helping participants better understand quality parameters.
Speaking about the collaboration, Vishesh Anand, Creative Director of Punjabi Saraf, said, “We wanted to create a platform where women could understand jewellery in relation to their own individuality, rather than viewing it only as a purchase. Working with FICCI FLO gave us access to a diverse community, and Rittika Karvat’s expertise brought a new perspective to how jewellery can be integrated into trousseau planning.”
The response was encouraging, with many first-time visitors to the showroom expressing interest in revisiting it for their upcoming requirements. Several participants highlighted that the sessions gave them practical insights into selecting jewellery that reflects both occasion and individuality.
Anand added, “Events like these are not focused on immediate sales but on building trust and engagement. The outcome is a deeper connection with our clients and a clearer brand positioning in the bridal jewellery space.”
Punjabi Saraf plans to continue hosting such lifestyle-linked initiatives to engage customers through experiences that position jewellery as a meaningful part of life’s milestones. The brand has two retail stores in Indore, with the flagship store located on Race Course Road and the heritage store located in Sarafa Bazaar.
