Retailers stand to win assured rewards by achieving key coupon milestones, ranging from silver coins to 5 gm gold coins, ensuring benefits at every stage

Mumbai: The All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) is all set to roll out the 2025 edition of Lucky Lakshmi, positioning it as India’s very own jewellery shopping festival. Scheduled from September 22 to November 9, the initiative is designed to energize festive-season jewellery sales while rewarding consumers and adding measurable value for retailers.

At the heart of the campaign are 15,000 prizes, led by a bumper reward of a 1 kg gold bar at the national level, alongside four zonal prizes of 250 gm gold each (one prize per region). Draws will be conducted from an equal pool of coupons issued during a particular period.

During the campaign period, there will also be seven weekly draws that will further distribute 140 prizes (20 prizes of 5 gm gold coins per week).

Adding to the excitement, retailers also stand to win assured rewards by achieving key coupon milestones, ranging from silver coins to 5 gm gold coins, ensuring benefits at every stage. For 1 to 75 coupons – 10g silver coin (985 purity); 1 to 300 coupons – 50g silver coin (995 purity); 1 to 600 coupons – 1 g gold coin (22kt) and 1 to 6,000 coupons – 5g gold coin (22kt) will be awarded to retailers.

Participation is simple: for every jewellery purchase worth Rs 25,000, customers receive a coupon to enter draws. Contest entries and validations are conducted digitally, ensuring visibility and transparency.

Once on board, retailers can expect a high-octane marketing push—from programmatic digital campaigns and influencer tie-ups to nationwide coverage across print, TV, radio, and outdoor media. In-store branding kits will transform outlets into festive destinations.

“Every year, Lucky Lakshmi boosts business by 30-35% for participating jewellers. This year, with leading players already on board, we expect even greater traction. I urge retailers across India to join and make this Diwali truly rewarding,” said Rajesh Rokde, Chairman, GJC, calling for wider participation in the festival.

Exclusively open to GJC members, the scheme is structured to support jewellers of every size—from standalone stores in small towns to mid-sized enterprises to large national chains—offering them not just customer engagement but visibility on a pan-India stage.
