The brand had identified a clear gap in the presence of organized and trusted jewellery retailers in the region
Dhar: Jewellery retailer DP Jewellers recently witnessed the grand opening of its 12th showroom at Dhar in Madhya Pradesh. Located at Happy Villa Colony, the new showroom marks a significant milestone in the brand’s continued growth and regional expansion.
Television actor Rupali Ganguly, the Kataria family that owns the brand and prominent members of the local community were present at the launch, which saw an overwhelming response, with strong customer footfalls and visible enthusiasm among Dhar residents.
Recognizing Dhar as one of the largest districts in Madhya Pradesh with immense potential, the brand had identified a clear gap in the presence of organized and trusted jewellery retailers in the region. With a strong and growing customer base already emerging from Dhar and nearby areas, the showroom was developed in response to consistent customer demand, further strengthening the brand’s accessibility and presence.
Spread across 3,000 square feet on a single floor, the showroom has been designed to deliver an elevated shopping experience. It features dedicated sections for silver, diamond jewellery, heavy gold collections, as well as lightweight designs, catering to diverse customer preferences and occasions.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kataria, Founder, Promoter & Whole Time Director, DP Jewellers, said, “We have received immense love and trust from customers, starting from Ratlam, which has empowered us to become a preferred choice for over three million families. The foundation of purity and transparency laid by our forefathers over 86 years ago continues to guide us today. The launch of our Dhar showroom is a result of consistent customer demand from the region, and we are confident it will meet and exceed expectations.”
Santosh Kataria, Chairman and Managing Director, DP Jewellers, added, “DP Jewellers was built on a strong foundation of purity, which has now evolved into a legacy. This legacy has been strengthened over the years by Late Shri Pannalal Kataria, Late Shri Manohar Lal Kataria, and Shri Ratanlal Kataria. Today, the next generation is committed to taking this legacy forward as the brand continues to grow steadily.”
Highlighting the brand’s customer-centric approach, Vikas Kataria, Promoter, DP Jewellers, said, “At DP Jewellers, we understand the emotional value associated with jewellery. Our skilled artisans craft each design keeping in mind evolving trends and customer preferences. We also offer customer-friendly schemes such as Swarn Samriddhi and Dazzling Diamond Scheme, enabling customers to purchase jewellery through convenient instalments.”
DP Jewellers was founded in 1940 by Late Shri Dhoolchandji Kataria. Over the years, it has built its presence across 11 key cities including Ratlam, Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Kota, Banswara, Ajmer and Neemuch. The addition of the Dhar showroom further strengthens its retail network, with plans to expand into newer markets across India.
