Mumbai: Bvlgari has opened its Serpenti Infinito exhibition at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Mumbai. Running from 1st to 17th October 2025, this marks the first time the exhibition has been held in India, following earlier editions in Shanghai and Seoul. The showcase coincides with the Year of the Snake and continues Bvlgari’s exploration of the serpent as its defining motif.

Actor Priyanka Chopra, Bvlgari’s Global Ambassador, inaugurated the exhibition on 1 October. She attended the opening ceremony at NMACC, where she wore a white gown paired with a Serpenti necklace.

Indian celebrities marked their presence at the Mumbai launch of the Serpenti Infinito exhibition. Priyanka Chopra was joined by Tamannaah Bhatia, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Triptii Dimri, among others, who attended the event in distinctive ensembles, making the inauguration a notable gathering of film and fashion personalities.

The exhibition has been curated by Nature Morte, the gallery founded by Peter Nagy and Aparajita Jain, and envisioned by Artistic Director Sean Anderson. It explores the influence of the serpent motif across jewellery, design and art, bringing together Bvlgari’s historic creations with contemporary artistic interpretations.

On display are Serpenti pieces from Bvlgari’s heritage and high jewellery collections, archival sketches, and early SerpentiTubogas watches from the 1960s. The curation includes unreleased high jewellery inspired by India, presented alongside Sapta Nadi Tantric Texts, rare manuscripts from the 15th century, reflecting the dialogue between cultures and traditions.

“For Bvlgari, India has always been a profound source of inspiration. This exhibition is a celebration of the dialogue between our timeless Roman roots and India’s vibrant artistic traditions,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari.

By positioning Serpenti within both historical and contemporary frameworks, the exhibition highlights Bvlgari’s role in connecting Roman heritage with Indian artistry. Serpenti Infinito demonstrates how the motif has moved from early jewellery watches introduced in 1948 to present-day creations, tracing its evolution as one of the brand’s most recognised symbols.

Bvlgari, part of the LVMH Group, was founded in the heart of Rome in 1884. Over the decades, the brand has established a worldwide reputation as a magnificent Roman High Jeweller and curator of the Italian art of living. It has an extended network of boutiques and hotels in the world’s most exclusive shopping areas.
