The event held at the brand’s Borivali store featured an image consultant who provided practical fashion guidance on how to style different outfits with the brand’s jewellery, enhancing customer understanding of its products, while encouraging festive shopping
Mumbai: Svaraa Jewels recently hosted a Raksha Bandhan-themed styling session at its Borivali store, engaging women from the local community through practical styling insights and interactive experiences. The event, part of the brand’s ‘Rishto Ki Chamak’ campaign, aimed to demonstrate how customers can style jewellery with different outfits during the festive season.
The session featured an image consultant, who shared tips on pairing jewellery with various neckline types, clothing styles and personal preferences. The focus was to help customers understand how everyday outfitscould be elevated using the right jewellery combinations.
“We wanted to offer something valuable to our customers beyond a traditional shopping experience,” said Chahat Shah, Founder, Svaraa Jewels. “The idea behind inviting an image consultant like Bandita S. Patro was to bring in someone with professional knowledge who could guide women on how to style their outfits with our jewellery, especially for a festival like Raksha Bandhan.”
The expert shared detailed suggestions such as choosing the right earrings for different face shapes, and selecting necklaces to match neckline cuts. The session included a variety of jewellery from daily wear to heavier festive pieces to show customers how the same ornament could work for different occasions and age groups.
An unexpected yet well-received addition came from a customer in the audience who was also a certified tarot card reader. She spontaneously offered insights into gemstone and diamond choices based on zodiac signs and energy compatibility. “She reached out to our store manager just before the event began,” said Shah. “We thought her perspective added an interesting and personal layer to the session.”
The event was not designed to promote any single product line or collection. Instead, the brand showcased a wide range of pieces across categories, indirectly highlighting its portfolio ranging from daily wear to festive jewellery. The focus was to demonstrate versatility and help customers visualize how to incorporate Svaraa’s designs into their personal wardrobes.
“Sales were not the goal for this event,” said Shah. “Our primary aim was brand awareness and customer engagement. Today, when someone from the industry – and not just our in-store team – shares styling advice, it builds trust and helps us connect with customers in a more meaningful way.”
Svaraa plans to continue hosting such experience-driven events during other festivals to build stronger relationships and enhance customer understanding of its product offerings.
Svaraa Jewels has retail stores in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, and also sells online. Looking ahead, the brand plans to expand by opening 5-10 new stores and increasing the online business. With ambitions to enter Tier II cities and eventually expand internationally, Svaraa’s long-term vision includes establishing 100 stores across India by 2030.
