Kakun ties up with fragrance label to create a sensory experience around its jewellery

The experiential format emerged as a viable path for customer engagement, positioning the brand not only in the fine jewellery space but also within a broader lifestyle conversation. It helped the brand connect with new audiences and built powerful brand recall

Lucknow: Kakun Fine Jewellery recently partnered with fragrance label Naso for an event that brought together two key luxury elements – perfumes and jewellery – in a curated, multi-sensory format for its audience. The collaboration was centred around the shared values of both brands – craftsmanship, individuality and personal expression delivered through an experience that goes beyond product display.

“At Kakun, we’re always exploring sensory personal experiences that deepen the emotional resonance of jewellery,” said Aditi Gupta, Founder, Kakun Fine Jewellery. “Collaborating with Naso felt organic as both our brands are rooted in craftsmanship, personal expression, and a quiet kind of luxury. Just as a scent can become part of your identity, so can a piece of fine jewellery.”

The event began with a sparkling wine reception, followed by a guided walkthrough of Kakun’s latest jewellery collections paired with Naso’s artisanal perfumes. Scent-testing stations were placed across the venue, allowing guests to explore fragrance notes hands-on, while personal styling consultations encouraged visitors to discover connections between their preferred scents and jewellery choices. The overall atmosphere encouraged reflection on identity and taste, bringing both product categories into a shared lifestyle context. “The event was designed as an immersive, multi-sensory journey,” said Gupta. “We created interactive scent-testing stations and offered styling consultations to help guests pair fragrances and jewellery based on their personalities and aesthetic sense.”

From Kakun’s perspective, the goal was to present its jewellery pieces in a real-world context, outside the confines of a conventional showcase. The brand used the collaboration to explore how jewellery can be experienced through emotion, memory and individual styling choices. The event also allowed for direct interaction between guests and the design team, creating conversations that extended beyond the visual appeal of each product. “Our aim was to go beyond showcasing products; we wanted to create an experience that reflected how jewellery lives and breathes in real life,” Gupta added.

The collaboration succeeded in reaching a broader audience, especially younger attendees who value layered forms of self-expression. According to Gupta, there was also a measurable business impact: new enquiries, custom order requests, and interest in packaged gift sets followed the event. The visibility achieved through press and social platforms further helped build awareness.

Kakun Fine Jewellery now sees this type of experiential format as a viable path for customer engagement, positioning the brand not only in the fine jewellery space but also within a broader lifestyle conversation.

Launched in 2024, Kakun Fine Jewellery is a boutique store in Lucknow, offering heirloom jewellery made of gold and polki. The brand’s store, located at Gomti Nagar in the city, features handcrafted jewellery designed for the modern woman.
