GJEPC’s ‘Jewels Unbounded’ in Hong Kong promotes India’s design and manufacturing
The jewellery show focused on Indian high fashion and fine jewellery, aiming to elevate India’s global positioning in gems & jewellery
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council and The Consulate General of India recently joined hands to organise the India Show, ‘Jewels Unbounded’ in Hong Kong, showcasing brilliant Indian craftsmanship. The initiative is supported by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The event was in association with Entice, a brand of KGK Group.
Through a jewellery fashion showcase, the event highlighted some of the most magnificent jewellery pieces designed & created in India for the target audience comprising gem & jewellery buyers, traders, associations, media, government officials, designers from around the world visiting the show.
The event was graced by Pradeep Kumar Rawat, Ambassador of India to the People’s Republic of China, Shruti Rawat as the guests of honour, alongside Kent Wong, Managing Director, Chow Tai Fook, Satwant Khanalia, Consul General of India, Hong Kong and Arulanandan, Director, Department of Commerce, MOC &I, Government of India.
Manushi Chhillar, former Miss World 2017, and Brand Ambassador for GJEPC, took the spotlight as the showstopper.
While this jewellery showcase event is an endeavour to promote India’s strength in product engineering, finesse in design and manufacturing capabilities to global audience, it also aims to elevate India’s global positioning in gems & jewellery directly to the consumers and create a demand pull for the product in the markets of Hong Kong, China, ASEAN.
