Jos Alukkas releases television commercial as part of its HUID awareness campaign
The campaign is focused on the tagline ‘HUID gives you courage’
Jewellery group Jos Alukkas, a leading player in South India, has entered the second phase of its Hallmark Unique Identification(HUID) awareness campaign after the Central Government had made the six-digit hallmarking mandatory for the industry a couple of months ago. With this phase of the campaign, Jos Alukkas takes up the Central Government’s mission to propagate HUID in our country, and becomes the first jewellery group in the country to release a TV commercial on HUID awareness.
The Jos Alukkas campaign is focused on the tagline ‘HUID gives you courage’.
“India is a country where lakhs of people buy gold ornaments every day. But unfortunately, only 3% of them have awareness about HUID. Jos Alukkas has hugely invested in the HUID awareness programmes,” said Jos Alukka, Chairman of Jos Alukkas Group.
Earlier, the Kerala-based jewellery group had roped in actor R. Madhavan as its brand ambassador and launched a campaign on ‘Courage’. It also launched a slew of programmes including an exchange fest soon after the Centre made HUID mandatory in gold jewellery in a bid to ensure quality and transparency along with fighting unethical practices in the market. Hundreds of people availed Jos Alukkas’ exchange offer and exchanged their old gold jewellery for new HUID-hallmarked jewellery.
The ongoing exchange fest continues to offer customers an opportunity to exchange old gold with HUID inscribed new gold jewellery. The fest has also announced attractive offers.
