Aisshpra Gems & Jewels amasses nearly 10K entries across Uttar Pradesh for season’s biggest lucky draw contest
Contests are great tools of analyses. Firstly, they allow you to monitor how well-engaged are your audience. Secondly, they provide crucial data about customer preferences regarding your current inventory. That’s what Aisshpra Gems & Jewels, Gorakhpur, did when they conducted a lucky draw contest as part of their jewellery festival from 1st to 20th of October across Uttar Pradesh.
The brand actually became the talk of not just the town, but the entire state as they gave away 7 Maruti Baleno cars as prizes. The only thing customers had to do was to make a purchase of equal to or more than Rs 50,000 at any of the Aisshpra showrooms, and they would be given a coupon to participate in the lucky draw. With such a high bar in the prizes section, the engagement was naturally enormous with nearly 10,000 entries received across all stores of Aisshpra in and around the state.
The cars were handed over to the deserving winners at the NEXA showroom in Gorakhpur. Atul Saraf, director of Aisshpra Gems & Jewels, announced the names of the winners. He said, “We are extremely excited to hand over their cars to the winners of the lucky draw, Puneet Kumar Rai from Park Road store, Gorakhpur; Anees Mohammad from Ghantaghar store; Suvodh Tiwari from Padrauna store; and Devesh Kumar Srivastava from Basti store. From Azamgarh store, Himanshu, a resident of Ghosi town of Mau district; Akanksha Srivastava from Deoria store and Abhilasha Pandey from Ballia store. Best wishes to these winners!”
Talking about the success of the entire activity, Vaibhav Saraf, co-director of the brand, said, “Giveaways as big as this help break away from the clutter of discounts, especially during festive and wedding seasons. Upselling to customer is also easier when the customer sees the indirect benefit in the upsell!”
