Charu Jewels added to the wedding extravaganza of Surat with their invitation-only even called ‘Vivaahrambh’. This three-day event was organized during Navratri and the brand decked up its jewellery showroom like a wedding venue along with a live sangeet and mehndi program.

Almost 150 customers were invited to the event, out of whom, 98 participated and received special hampers consisting of nine auspicious items related to wedding, such as haldi, chandan, misri, and supari. In order to give a personal touch, the jeweller had made sure that all the invitations were personally delivered to the customers. A complete wedding collection was created by the jeweller especially for the occasion.

The jeweller had showcased almost 500 diamond necklaces for the brides and brides maids. Special counters were designed for jewellery handpicked for different functions of the great Indian wedding such as mehendi, sangeet, etc. Overall 3,500 jewellery pieces, including rings, small earrings, standalone long earrings, bracelets, cocktail rings, and lightweight necklaces were being showcased. Unlike other exhibitions, this bridal event also had jewellery for all the relatives of the bride and the groom.

Giving more details about the event, Nikhil Desai, owner, Charu Jewels, said, “We had called only those clients who had weddings at their houses in November, December and January. Apart from the clients whom we knew personally, we also got in touch with their relatives and friends who have weddings coming up.We even contacted event planners in Surat to get in touch with more people.”

According to Nikhil, no big wedding took place in Surat and nearby areas in the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with the market reopening and people coming out of their homes, the jeweller wanted to use the opportunity to energise customers about the several weddings lined up this year-end and the beginning of 2022.

Timely organisation of this grand event has helped the jeweller earn a tremendous response from outstation customers, who also visited the showroom. There were two customers from Mumbai, a family from Ahmedabad, two families from Rajkot and three families from Bengaluru, who got all bridal jewellery with a lot of variety under one roof.
