This strategic move aims to enhance accessibility to sustainable and ethical jewellery options in key cities, aligning with the brand’s growth objectives and market expansion plans
Pune: Solitario, a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, has announced its largest retail expansion, opening 10 exclusive stores across India during the Navratri festival. The launch covers key cities including Hyderabad, Indore, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, reinforcing Solitario’s presence in India’s jewellery market.
The expansion coincides with the peak festive jewellery-buying season and includes 20 stores opening nationally 10 exclusive stores and 10 shop-in-shop formats across 10 days, aligning symbolically with the nine days of Navratri.
The stores provide customers with access to Solitario’s collections, including the newly launched Vermeil Collection, featuring over 400 designs. The Mumbai stores include a 350 sq. ft. location in Vashi and a 450 sq. ft. store on Linking Road, while the Delhi stores cover 600 sq. ft. in Paschim Vihar and 850 sq. ft. in Karol Bagh. The openings were attended by Solitario co-founders Vivek Oberoi and Ricky Vasandani, marking the start of the expansion with the Shakti Shringaar Nath offered at Goddess Mumbadevi.

Ricky Vasandani, Co-Founder & CEO at Solitario, said, “This Navratri, Solitario celebrated not just new beginnings, but a new era of luxury in India. By launching ten new stores simultaneously across major cities – including Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata – we are achieving true pan-India accessibility for our lab-grown diamond creations. This expansion is about democratizing aspiration; it ensures every customer, from metropolitan hubs to dynamic Tier 1 cities, can celebrate their milestones with ethical integrity and purpose.”
Vivek Oberoi, Co-founder at Solitario, added, “This Navratri has been nothing short of historic. We haven’t just launched stores, we’ve sparked a national movement for conscious luxury. From Hyderabad to Delhi, our vision is clear: to redefine fine Indian jewellery with brilliance that is ethical, responsible and undeniably world class. What makes this journey even more special is the blessing we received by offering the sacred Shakti Shringaar Nath at the Mumba Devi Temple during this auspicious occasion, a gesture that grounds our growth in tradition and divine grace.”
The expansion marks a key chapter in Solitario’s growth, strengthening its presence in India’s major cities and reflecting the market’s shift toward ethical and design-led jewellery. Founded in 2022, Solitario now operates over 10 flagship stores in India and abroad, including locations in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Dubai, Malaysia, and Spain.
