This year, the brand is also celebrating its golden jubilee, which makes the contest even more special with more than 50 winners for the lucky draw, says Gagan Khurana, Partner, Sham Jewellers
Chandigarh: Attractive offers, lucky draw contests and other in-store activities have long been favoured by jewellers who understand that jewellery shoppers become loyal customers when they see the potential of positive incentivization. Sham Jewellers from Chandigarh recently announced the winners of the eighth edition of their Shop & Win contest, which gave their customers a chance to win numerous gifts and prizes.
The event took place in the parking lot of the brand’s store to accommodate more than 700 visitors who eagerly awaited the results of the draw. Jewellery shoppers making purchases starting from Rs 10,000 onwards became eligible to participate in the contest, which started on September 13 and ended on December 30, 2023. Through these months, these customers collected coupons on their jewellery purchases. The brand gave out nearly four lakh coupons and at the end of the contest, selected 55 lucky winners who won a host of grand prizes.
Gagan Khurana, Partner, Sham Jewellers, said, “This is the 8th edition of the Shop & Win Contest. Each year, we see the growth double over the previous one when it comes to our business as well as this activity. This year, the brand is also celebrating its golden jubilee, which makes the contest even more memorable, special and successful, and so we decided to have more than 50 winners for the lucky draw.”
The top five winners of the contest were given three Honda Amaze, one Honda City and one Honda Elevate car. Other prizes included iPhone 13 phones, iPads, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 watches, Mi TVs and HP laptops.
The Chandigarh-based jewellery house caters to avid jewellery shoppers and loyal customers from Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan, and retails gold, kundan, jadau, meenakari, solitaire, polki and diamond jewellery from its 30,000 sq ft store. Khurana said, “A legacy of 50 years is a big achievement as a brand. We have visitors and customers coming from other States too, as they seek quality, variety, pricing, and good service – all from a single brand. We want to continue showing them such dedication as we have been doing for so many years.”
