Your Career Path
I have been in the business for 34 years, starting in 1990 when it was known as “Vasavi Jewellery Mart.” In 1996, we launched “Sri Vasavi Thangamaaligai,” that has earned the trust of generations in Dindigul through lasting relationships and shared values.
Number Of Stores
We currently operate two dedicated gold jewellery stores and one exclusively for silver artifacts. We also launched a separate brand, “The Amethyst Store,” which now spans five outlets, for 925 silver jewellery.

We follow a structured management approach that outlines well-defined roles and responsibilities. This system ensures operational efficiency, accountability, and smooth coordination at all levels.

We began our journey with just 15 employees in 1996, and today, we have grown into a team of 300. This reflects our collective hard work and commitment to the steady progress of our brand and people.
Your Biggest Business Ambition
To expand our retail footprint by opening more stores across strategic locations and growing our workforce to 1000. This will help our brand be more accessible to a wider audience.

My father, Meda Nithayanandam, and my grandfather, Meda A. Balanagasunderasen Chettiar, have inspired my life and business decisions. They laid the foundation for the brand we know today, and it is their vision and values that continue to guide our journey.
