The Marathi podcast series features conversations with actors and has been part of the brand’s digital content presence over the last few months

Pune: PNG Jewellers has continued its association with the Marathi podcast series ‘Tyachi Goshta’, a long-form content format featuring conversations with actors from the regional entertainment industry. The series has been on for several months, with the brand present as a recurring partner across episodes.

The podcast follows a consistent conversational structure, with each episode centred on the personal and professional journeys of the featured guest. The discussions focus on lived experiences, career decisions and defining moments, all in a format that lends itself to story-telling.

For instance, a recent episode featured actor Atul Todankar, tracing his entry into acting, his professional journey, and a significant health episode involving a brain haemorrhage, followed by recovery and return to work. The content remains aligned with the series’ format of first-person narratives without external commentary or thematic overlays. By aligning with regional story-telling and familiar cultural voices, PNG Jewellers is able to reinforce trust and relatability within its core consumer base.

The series is presented in Marathi and distributed through digital platforms, with excerpts and short-form clips shared across social media channels to drive visibility. This allows for longer engagement windows for the partner brand, compared to conventional promotional formats.

From a retail and marketing standpoint, the association reflects a shift toward content-led brand building, where visibility is achieved through sustained audience engagement rather than high-decibel, short-term campaigns.

The absence of overt product placement also positions the brand within a softer recall framework, enabling it to remain present without interrupting the user experience. This approach is particularly relevant in an environment where consumers are increasingly resistant to direct advertising, and where authentic content tends to deliver higher engagement and retention.

Additionally, podcasts offer a cost-efficient, scalable medium for regional retailers to maintain continuity in brand communication. With episodic releases and cross-platform distribution, the format helps extend reach, build frequency, and tap into younger, digital-first audiences who may not engage with traditional jewellery advertising.

PNG Jewellers’ continued association with the podcast assures a sustained presence, independent of seasonal campaigns or occasion-based promotions. With new episodes featuring different personalities, the series maintains a steady release pattern while retaining a uniform structure.

PNG Jewellers’ journey as a brand has a legacy dating back to 1832. The brand now operates 78 retail stores in India.
