The brand combined in-store activities with a digital contest to celebrate educators while offering them jewellery solutions and savings plans

New Delhi: On September 5, PC Jeweller marked Teacher’s Day with activities across all its showrooms in India, combining in-store celebrations with a digital campaign to honour teachers and engage customers. The initiative saw the participation of around 2,000 teachers, who were welcomed at showrooms with games, quizzes and interactive sessions.

Prizes were offered to winners, while jewellery care sessions educated teachers on how to safely store their ornaments. Many also enrolled in PC Jeweller’s monthly savings schemes and purchased gold and diamond jewellery.

The event had a positive impact on the retailer’s sales. Many teachers availed of offers to buy jewellery, while others enrolled in savings plans. “On an average, 60 to 70 teachers visited each showroom. We saw strong sales activity on Teacher’s Day, with several teachers choosing to invest in gold and diamond pieces,” said RK Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, PC Jeweller. “This initiative not only helped us celebrate with our customers but also supported them for long-term investment in jewellery.”

In addition to the showroom activities, PC Jeweller ran a digital contest on Instagram, encouraging users to post pictures with their teachers and describe them in one word. The campaign reached 3.7 million users, and three winners received silver gifts. “The digital campaign connected with thousands of followers, allowing us to build relationships beyond the showroom,” Sharma explained.

The campaign helped PC Jeweller strengthen customer relationships by engaging teachers and their families in both physical and online spaces. It offered opportunities for customers to explore jewellery options while participating in meaningful celebrations.

The brand’s approach combined community outreach with sales opportunities, supporting growth and customer loyalty. By recognizing the role of teachers, PC Jeweller reinforced its position as a brand that values relationships and values. The success of the initiative reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to create experiences that align with cultural occasions while encouraging customer interaction.

PC Jeweller started operations in April 2005 with one showroom at Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Today, it has showrooms across 67 cities and 17 States in India.
