She also highlighted the role played by consumers in shaping the initiative, noting that participants were selected based on the messages they shared about Dhoni and the values he represents. Speaking at the event, MS Dhoni reflected on his association with platinum jewellery. He said, “When PGI happened, it opened the doors for me to say, I think I should be wearing this. They’ve been really kind to get me whatever I wanted in my own choice of design.”
Dhoni also spoke about his comfort with the metal and his ongoing association with the category, stating that he has been wearing platinum jewellery for several years.
The meet and greet reinforced Men of Platinum’s focus on building a community driven by shared values, while strengthening the association between platinum jewellery and men who prioritize substance and consistency.
