A CPR and Life Support Awareness Session, held in partnership with the Rotary Club of Mumbai Kandivali West, strengthened community engagement and demonstrated the brand’s ongoing focus on health and safety
Mumbai: Manubhai Jewellers recently organized a CPR and Life Support Awareness Session, aimed at equipping individuals with essential life-saving skills. As part of its CSR initiatives, the brand focused on providing practical training in CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machines, reinforcing the message that saving a life is the greatest act of humanity.
The session included the inauguration of an AED machine, marking a step toward enabling the community to respond effectively in emergency situations. Partnering with the Rotary Club of Mumbai Kandivali West, Manubhai Jewellers ensured that over 20 participants were trained in CPR techniques and the use of AED devices. The session sought to empower participants to act confidently during critical moments, benefiting not only their families but the wider community.
Samir Sagar, Director, Manubhai Jewellers, said, “At Manubhai, we believe our responsibility extends far beyond jewellery. It’s about contributing meaningfully to the community that has supported us over the years. Our CSR initiatives are focused on creating real, tangible value in people’s lives, and this project exemplifies that commitment. By supporting the deployment of AED machines and providing CPR training, we are equipping the community to respond effectively in critical moments.”
The initiative also reinforces the brand’s ongoing focus on health and safety. Earlier programmes included CPR and cardiac health training for employees, along with guidance from nutrition consultants. Encouraged by the response, Manubhai Jewellers plans to expand these sessions to a broader community base.
Sagar added, “Engaging with our community in such meaningful ways deepens trust and demonstrates care that goes beyond business. When we invest in people’s safety and wellbeing, we build bonds that are rooted in shared responsibility and genuine connection. That is the foundation of lasting relationships with the communities we serve.”
Through initiatives like these, Manubhai Jewellers aims to strengthen its relationship with the community, ensuring trust and connection beyond the store.
Established in 1993, Manubhai Jewellers began as a jewellery manufacturing and wholesale business in Gujarat. In 2008, the brand opened its first independent retail showroom in Borivali West, Mumbai. Today, it operates three stores – two in Borivali and one in Thane.
